A beautifully designed pool is only complete when it’s surrounded by a thoughtfully constructed patio and shaded by a stylish pergola. At Premium Pools, we specialise in the design and installation of custom pool patios and pergolas for homes, estates, and hospitality spaces across Durban.
Whether you want a modern outdoor lounge, an entertainment-ready braai area, or a peaceful shaded retreat beside your swimming pool, we’ll bring your vision to life with quality craftsmanship and aesthetic precision.
Your poolside area is where style meets functionality — and the right patio and pergola setup can dramatically elevate your outdoor experience. We work with natural stone, concrete pavers, clay bricks, ceramic tiles, and composite decking to create pool patios that are both durable and visually striking.
Our finishes are designed to withstand Durban’s variable climate conditions while providing slip-resistant surfaces that are safe for wet environments.
When it comes to pergolas, we offer both freestanding and integrated options, custom-built in wood, aluminium, or steel. These structures provide shade, define outdoor zones, and add architectural interest to your garden or pool deck.
Whether you prefer an open-slatted pergola with climbing vines or a contemporary aluminium unit with retractable roofing and lighting, we’ll tailor the design to your personal style and practical needs.
Our patio and pergola installations are ideal for:
Families looking to create outdoor lounge or dining areas beside the pool
Developers building high-end homes or luxury estates
Hospitality venues such as lodges, guesthouses, and boutique hotels
Homeowners seeking a shaded braai area or relaxing escape
We handle every aspect of the build — from ground prep and surface levelling to drainage, paving, shade structure installation, and finishing details. You can choose to include features like built-in seating, fire pits, lighting, planters, or custom privacy screens, turning your pool area into an all-season outdoor living space.
Having a shaded and well-paved pool area is not just a luxury — it’s a practical investment. At Premium Pools, we combine design flair with structural expertise to create poolside environments that are functional, elegant, and made to last.
